A standard feature of the thin Van Ruysdael insulating++ glass is that it is equipped with a soundproofing feature that performs better than double glazing that is three to four  times as thick. Sound insulation capacity is expressed in (Rw) dB. The higher the value, the better the sound insulation.


Non-insulating single glazing (3mm): 27dB.  
Standard 25mm double glazing (4-16-5mm): 29dB. 
Van Ruysdael 5.8mm insulating++ glass: 32dB.
